Federer Wears the Pants (Backwards)
Roger Federer is the arbiter of cool. The Swiss pin-up. The guy who has a closet full of Prada, D&G, Valentino, and a hundred other slick Italian designers. He even goes to Fashion Week NYC with fan Anna Wintour.
Roger is no stranger to fashion: In October 2003 the tennis star launched a fragrance and cosmetics line called RF Cosmetics.
He’s the guy who has Anna Wintour, the queen of Vogue, sitting in his player box — when he’s not schmoozing with her at NYC Fashion Week or appearing in her magazines.
But we know something else about tennis’ top male icon that others don’t. And now that the dust has settled, we’d like to let you in on a little secret:
The usually unflappable fashion plate was so over-wrought with emotion after sealing his fifth Wimbledon title on Sunday, that he put his signature Nike pants on…
…backwards.
