Andy Roddick is doing a little promotion this week leading up to the U.S. Open. This morning he was on the CBS Early Show promoting his new American Express Open TV commercial: a rivalry with the legendary Pong.

Fans crowded outside the studio where a tennis court was set up. A-Rod played a little tennis with a few kids and the show’s weatherman. Following the segment, he posed for pictures, signed autographs and gave out tickets to the Semis and Final, courtesy of American Express.

Roddick will also be doing an in-store at the Lacoste boutique on Thursday, from 5-7pm, before heading over to take part in the the annual Dacor Taste of Tennis to benefit City Harvest, the world’s oldest food rescue organization.
